10 – 11 December 2018: Intergovernmental Conference to Adopt a Global Compact for Safe, Orderly and Regular Migration The Intergovernmental Conference to Adopt a Global Compact for Safe, Orderly and Regular Migration will be held from 10 to 11 December 2018 at the UN Conference Building in Marrakech, Morocco.  All funding and arrangements for travel, including visas, accommodation, and transportation, are the responsibility of participants.  Stakeholders who participated in the GCM consultations and negotiations will be given priority consideration for participation at the Conference.  For side events to be held in Marrakesh from 5 to 9 December 2018, related to the Intergovernmental Conference to Adopt a Global Compact for Safe, Orderly and Regular Migration , registered participants must register separately with the respective organizers for special passes to access to the side event venue. La lettre d'information de Canal Académie - n°502 EDITORIAL Chers amis, chers auditeurs, Voici quelques mois, le professeur Joël Bockaert, membre de l’Académie des sciences, a publié un ouvrage consacré à la "communication du vivant" (1). De la sorte, ce spécialiste des communications cellulaires entendait notamment remettre en perspective l’affirmation bien connue selon laquelle nous vivons désormais dans une “civilisation de la communication”. En effet, comme il l’explique dans l’entretien qu’il nous a accordé, la capacité à communiquer s’étend à l’entièreté du vivant, des bactéries jusqu’aux humains, si bien que son développement se confond avec la dynamique même de l’évolution. Toutefois, pour l’auteur, ce constat ne doit nullement conduire à nier la singularité de l’homme, ni celle de la situation présente.
